Chenap Bugyal

Chenap valley is one of the lesser known and unexplored treks offering breathtaking views extensive meadows covered with widest variety of flowers in the Indian himalayas. Located at the base of Sona Shikhar mountain this is an easy trek with views of peaks of Nanda Devi, Nandkot and Dronagiri.

Itinerary

Vishnuprayag is one of the Panch Prayag in Garhwal. We will drive through the other four namely Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnprayag and Nadnprayag to reach Vishnuprayag.

The trek to Thaing village starts after crossing the bridge at Vishnuprayag. Explore the small scenic village and interact with the locals. You cannot help but notice and admire how warm hospitable they are. Listen to various stories they have to tell of the area. Stay overnight in homestay.

Poppies, daisies and other innumerable varieties of flowers greet you in the valley. Witness the rare Brahma Kamal flower. Overnight stay in tents.
