Your journey starts on your arrival at Mori a quaint little village on the banks of the Tons River in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. Following a picturesque drive from Dehradun (129 ml, 7–8 hours), you will arrive at your base camp on the riverside nestled amongst pine and deodar woodlands.

Upon arrival, you get hot tea and a delicious meal and meet your river guides and expedition team. The remainder of the day is rested by the river and used as a rest from igo acclimatization (1,150m) and rest from the trekk.
