Our professional course is 100% field-orientated. You learn by paddling real rivers and making real decisions. Learners gain experience in expedition logistics, river reading, and emergency co-ordination.
Our expeditions are conducted on some of the most popular rivers in Uttarakhand: The Ganga (Rishikesh stretch) and the Kali and Saryu Rivers (Kumaon), perfect for technical, remote expedition training.
We keep our training groups purposefully small. Each participant is invited to serve as an expedition leader, leading route planning, safety checks, and team coordination.
On successful completion, participants receive the Professional Kayaking Course Certification. Alumni commonly transition to: Expedition paddlers, Adventure sports instructors, and River safety guides.
Advanced-level course and Guided Kayak Tours in Uttarakhand for competent kayakers. With a flexible curriculum, the program enables you to attend intensive training and go on multi-day expeditions both in Rishikesh as well as Kumaon.

Our vast network of rivers allows for paddling throughout the year, however, professional kayaking and expedition training require optimal flow, temperature, and safety.
Good for moderate to high river flows and warm temperatures. Perfect for expedition routes on the Ganga, Saryu and Kali rivers.
Rivers settle down after the monsoons with strong but predictable rapids, crisp weather, and clear skies ideal for leadership training.
Known for strong Class III–IV rapids such as The Wall & Golf Course. Good for leadership and rescue work.
Spectacular, unspoiled Himalayan tributary with continuous gradient. Excellent for learning rapid scouting, eddy control, and paddling endurance.
The most demanding expedition stretch. Includes world-class multi-day paddling through wilderness gorges, perfect for true expedition experience.

Registration in the professional course is open only to those over the age of 18 and only for individuals with prior kayaking experience, preferably in completing a course at the intermediate level. You should know how to swim in moving water and be in fair shape for long paddling days and multiday trip.
No, The Rewild India is well equipped with all gear for kayaking and expeditions such as kayaks, paddle, helmet, buoyancy aids, rescue ropes , camping kits and more. But feel free to take your own stuff — whether it’s water shoes, rash guards, or dry bags. The gear employed in training satisfies international whitewater safety standards.
