Binsar Trek Uttarakhand is an ideal trek in Indian Himalayas generally its distance is around 18 to 22 km and can take 3 to 5 days to complete. The trail meanders gently in oak, rhododendron and pine forests with occasional meadows and stone slopes. The climb is gradual without any strenuous or technical climbs.

Start Point: About 5500ft (1676m). Highest Point (Zero Point): Approx. 8,000 ft (2,438 m). So the altitude increase is gradual and this allows your body to adjust. There’s no need to do special acclimatization stops like you have to do on high-altitude expeditions.

Although it's a breeze by Himalayan standards, Binsar Trek does require a rudimentary level of fitness. You need to know how to walk 6-8 km a day comfortably while carrying a light backpack (4-6 kgs). Afternoon, you’ll arrive in Pithsain Village where either REwild’s camp or local homestay is situated. Night falls, the campfire glows. Day 4: Pithsain to Kathgodam ­– We’re Going Home

After a leisurely breakfast descend a short distance through forest trails to reach road head, where your vehicle meets you. The road back to Kathgodam is bittersweet. You’re likely to take a rest for tea or local snacks on the way before you get to Kathgodam.
